life // daily routines.

change isn’t always a bad thing. occasionally it can help you learn a bit about yourself.

something old // something new // something undiscovered.

• old: I thrive on being busy.

• new: I love early mornings.

• undiscovered: where I’m going to fit a workout into my daily routine.

I just entered my 4th week at my full-time position. but what you may not have known, I also have a part-time job [saturday’s + sunday’s] as a waitress. [it’s become a “money for the wedding” job]. in addition, to time spent blogging. not to mention, there is apparently a wedding I should be ‘actively’ planning? and a gym I should be visiting for said-wedding. all the while getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep. lofty goals much?

I am still working out the kinks in my new routine. please bare with me.

I intend to be successfully juggling it all very shortly.

as for the workout portion of my routine, I’m thinking that’ll be the newest addition to my mornings.

[*editor’s note: I think I can, I think I can].

my motto should be: don’t get overwhelmed; get iced coffee and do more.

happy tuesday.

  1. I’m most definitely (most of the time…) a morning gym-goer. I can’t find any time in the remainder of my days… or other things – like wine, always seem more important after a day in the office… If you ever need some Tweet motivation, let me know :)

    1. ahhh, becky that is me. when I get home from work, my priority is dinner & (occasionally) a glass of wine. I would love some tweet motivation. nothing like being called out to the world to get your butt to the gym, seriously. and thank you!!!

  2. Haha, love your motto! All is possible with iced coffee :) I’m trying to become more of a morning exerciser. SOMEDAY!

    1. people keep saying if you exercise in the morning, you will be energized throughout the day. but in my brain, I think I’d be even more exhausted. I guess I should just try it & find out. if nothing else, it’s an excuse to drink more iced coffee. I’m glad we’re on the same page, Lindsay! :)

  3. I’m in the same boat right now. I am in the 2nd full week of my job, and baseball season is coming up where I will also be working part time from time to time. I need to get into a routine too.

    1. it is so, so hard adjusting. and I’d have to say there is never enough time in the day. but I’m sure trying. and each day it gets a bit easier. we’ll get there! good luck with everything jessa :)
