the 12 days of christmas.

on sunday, december 14th, we will be a mere 12 days from christmas. to ensure we fit it all in, I’ve created a countdown with festive tasks for each day. everything from baking cookies, to a friendly gingerbread house competition, and watching your favorite holiday movie. follow along with mine or create your own. but whatever you do, don’t let christmas arrive before you fully enjoy this time of year.

and do not forget to fill the stockings along the way.

12 days of christmas

mark your calendars.

happy monday.

’tis the season.

happy december.

you can officially watch christmas movies, crank up jingle bells, and decorate your house without the risk of being “too early” or “skipping over thanksgiving”.

I held off. reluctantly.

so I’m going to share a couple snapshots from my thanksgiving. and then talk about christmas!

once a year, just for thanksgiving my mom gets out the set of ‘classic car water glasses’. they were left to my dad when my grandfather passed away. it’s a little piece of him we love having at our dinner.
