pretty in white.

on the agenda: spending the entire day at yellowstone national park. hopefully avoiding all bears. or like my parents mentioned: buffalo. [supposedly during our mid-90’s family trip to yellowstone, we watched a car get rammed by an angry buffalo. I evidently don’t remember ..but [J] & I definitely want to avoid that]. there is so much to see, and we have so little time. you can guarantee I’ll sleep like a baby tonight.

let me introduce you to the beautiful emily of {flyover fashion}.

she’s sharing the perfect, extremely versatile summer outfit. which I think would be great for my upcoming weekend in salt lake city. have I mentioned I’m beyond excited to trade in my athletic/camping clothes for pretty summer dresses? because I am!

Hi, all! While Chelsea’s off on her exciting trip, she asked me to share a few of my summer fashion must-haves with you. If I was playing wish list here, my list of summer must-haves would be fairly long. But the outfit I put together is simply a versatile, casual and cute summer look.
A little white dress is right at the top of my must-have list because there is so much you can do with it. I love the eyelet details on mine that make it a little more daytime. My accessories are always lighter in the summer, too. The perfect pair of brown leather sandals, pink sunnies that match your cross-body bag, and a few bracelets are all you need to compliment this look!

What are your summer fashion must-haves?

[J] finally came home yesterday, after 8 days away on business. we were going to celebrate his return by breaking in our brand new grill. brat night! but mother nature had other ideas. a thunderstorm cancelled our outdoor grilling plans ..& led to take-out taco pizza. while watching [the gorgeous australian] adam scott win the masters.

the next three days aren’t looking too promising for outdoor activities either. sad. eventually.
