after 10 days of traveling the country [6 of which were spent sleeping in a tent] ..[J] & I made it to denver, colorado.
it’s always been a “home away from home” for me. a lot of my family lives there. and I’ve been out to visit more times than I can count. I cherish every moment spent there. it’s so beautiful. maybe one day, I’ll pack [J] up in a truck & move there.
now that I’ve thoroughly frightened my fiance this is how we spent our time in denver ..
this is why you throw away your garbage when camping..
if you leave it, bears will find it.
and be a great photo opportunity & an AMAZING animal sighting for us. [ but that’s besides the point].
we hiked up to devil’s head fire lookout.
with my parents + their sweet, little puppy.
who was over the hike almost instantly!
the views could not have been more gorgeous.
because I’m easily amused ..
after the hike, we were all exhausted. but especially ..
the parent’s pooch.
then there was a backyard cookout.
and thee most amazing sunset ..
I may have left a piece of my heart there ..
we’ll be back soon.
and remember ..
